Elementary students, grades K-5, visit our store in Homewood with the help of their “personal shoppers” to select new clothing, including socks and underwear.

School counselors are asked to submit up to 40 children’s names and sizes. The criteria for selection is up to the school based on student need.

Our volunteers then pack bags for each child with a warm hoodie, undergarments, 3 shirts, 2 pairs of pants, and a hygiene kit. After each student tries on the clothes to make sure they fit and that they love them, they select a book of their choice to add to their bag. 

It means everything to us to see their smiles as big as their bags when they leave!
